“A little over two years ago my doctor had me on three different medications to try and control my high cholesterol, blood pressure and triglycerides. I felt like I was on the road to a heart attack someday. After adopting a high nutrient plant based diet, all my levels have dropped, lost over 30 pounds and was able to eliminate the usage of “all” my medication. I have much more energy and feel consistently better now. My wife joined me who also had high cholesterol at the time. After adopting this lifestyle, our levels are now normal. Both of us wish we would have adopted this non-processed, healthy way of eating long ago.”

—Gary C., Marshall, TX

“This has completely changed my life. Before I was overweight, on several medications for several conditions, with no energy and a totally negative outlook. Now, after losing 30 lbs, I’m off my medications, and have new found energy. I’m in the best shape I’ve been in for 30 years. I have a totally positive outlook on life and I will never go back to the way I was.”

—Rick H., Hallsville, TX

“After 8 months of eating plant strong I went from a size 12 to a size 4. I have not had one cold or any allergies. I feel like I’m in my 20’s and plan to stay this way forever.”

—Mary H., Hallsville, TX

“Even though I exercised regularly and was not overweight, I couldn’t get my high cholesterol down to where it belonged. I started eating a plant based diet and in a short period of time my cholesterol has dropped over 60 points and has stayed down. I have never felt so great! The increased energy and healthy looking skin are just a few of the many results. I do think about health benefits, especially the ones we can’t see taking place inside our bodies.”

—Clara, Marshall, TX

“After my heart-attack in 2007, I was put on Crestor, Lisinopril, Plavix, Novolog and some other prescriptions and was spending over $300 a month, even with insurance. I heard from Get Healthy Marshall about the benefits of a plant-based diet and decided to become more vigilant with my health. With my doctor’s permission, I started eating fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds and lost over 100 lbs. I was able to get off those expensive meds. Every aspect of my life has improved: my health, my stamina and even my personal relationships. I feel there are no limits to what I can do. There’s a saying that has stuck with me… There’s only one thing in life that you can control and that’s the food you put in your mouth.”

—Bo Ellis, Marshall, TX

“I initially began this diet as an experiment. I was fit, but my cholesterol has always been high. Six weeks later, my cholesterol had dropped by 30%, not 30 points, 30%! Needless to say, we were sold. I also lost 7 lbs. or about 5% of my body weight, what a bonus!”

—Paula S., Marshall, TX
